Title: Performance Chef/Culinarian 

Reports to: Manager/Lead

Pay: $18-$24 Hourly



Summary of Position

Directly responsible for all kitchen functions including preparation and maintenance of quality standards; sanitation and cleanliness. To be a feature and possess culinary creativity and expertise in diverse cooking techniques, blend culinary expertise with showmanship to create an engaging dining experience. 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards. 

  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. 

  • Prepare all required paperwork, including form, reports in a timely manner

  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurants preventative maintenance programs

  • Complete any other tasks or directives issues by your Manager of Superiors in a polite, timely and accurate manner.

  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules for kitchen floor, mats, walls, hoods, other equipment and food storage areas. 

  • Check and maintain proper food holding and refrigeration temperature control points




Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests

  • Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests

  • Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop

  • Carry items up to 50 lbs, including bus tubs, trays with dishes and glassware

  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
